بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمَنِ الرَّحِيمِ

5474 2730 72 20 1	يَا أَيُّهَا الْمُزَّمِّلُ O you coverer.
5475 2731 73 21 1449 2	قُمِ اللَّيْلَ إِلا قَلِيلا Stay up at night only for a little while.
5476 2732 74 22 1450 3	نِصْفَهُ أَوِ انْقُصْ مِنْهُ قَلِيلا Half of it, or a little less,-
5477 2733 75 23 4	أَوْ زِدْ عَلَيْهِ وَرَتِّلِ الْقُرْآنَ تَرْتِيلا -or a bit more; and read the Quran from cover to cover.
5478 2734 76 24 1451 5	إِنَّا سَنُلْقِي عَلَيْكَ قَوْلا ثَقِيلا We will soon reveal to you an important message.
5479 2735 77 25 6	إِنَّ نَاشِئَةَ اللَّيْلِ هِيَ أَشَدُّ وَطْئًا وَأَقْوَمُ قِيلا Indeed, the meditation by night is most effective and has a lasting consequence.
5480 2736 78 26 1452 7	إِنَّ لَكَ فِي اَلنَّهَارِ سَبْحًا طَوِيلا Surely, during the daylight, there are other things for you to keep you occupied.
5481 2737 79 27 8	وَاذْكُرِ اسْمَ رَبِّكَ وَتَبَتَّلْ إِلَيْهِ تَبْتِيلا And commemorate the name of your Lord, and get closer and closer to Him.
5482 2738 80 28 9	رَبُّ الْمَشْرِقِ وَالْمَغْرِبِ لا إِلَهَ إِلا هُوَ فَاتَّخِذْهُ وَكِيلا Lord of the East and the West, there is no god except He, you shall therefore take Him as an advocate.
5483 2739 81 29 10	وَاصْبِرْ عَلَى مَا يَقُولُونَ وَاهْجُرْهُمْ هَجْرًا جَمِيلا And be patient in the face of their utterances and ignore them in a nice manner.
5484 2740 82 30 1453 11	وَذَرْنِي وَالْمُكَذِّبِينَ أُولِي النَّعْمَةِ وَمَهِّلْهُمْ قَلِيلا And leave the rejecters to Me, those who have been blessed generously, and give them a little time.
5485 2741 83 31 12	إِنَّ لَدَيْنَا أَنْكَالا وَجَحِيمًا Indeed, We have punishment and an Inferno.
5486 2742 84 32 1454 13	وَطَعَامًا ذَا غُصَّةٍ وَعَذَابًا أَلِيمًا And choking food and a painful punishment.
5487 2743 85 33 14	يَوْمَ تَرْجُفُ الأرْضُ وَالْجِبَالُ وَكَانَتِ الْجِبَالُ كَثِيبًا مَهِيلا The day when the ground and the mountains will tremble and the mountains will be like a weightless pile.
5488 2744 86 34 15	إِنَّا أَرْسَلْنَا إِلَيْكُمْ رَسُولا شَهِدًا عَلَيْكُمْ كَمَا أَرْسَلْنَا إِلَى فِرْعَوْنَ رَسُولا We have indeed sent to you, a messenger, as a witness over you, just as We sent a messenger to Pharaoh.
5489 2745 87 35 16	فَعَصَى فِرْعَوْنُ الرَّسُولَ فَأَخَذْنَاهُ أَخْذًا وَبِيلا However, Pharaoh disobeyed the messenger; so We inflicted upon him a severe punishment.
5490 2746 88 36 1455 17	فَكَيْفَ تَتَّقُونَ إِنْ كَفَرْتُمْ يَوْمًا يَجْعَلُ الْوِلْدَانَ شِيبًا Therefore, how can you protect yourselves if you disbelieve on a day when children turn gray-haired.
5491 2747 89 37 18	السَّمَاءُ مُنْفَطِرٌ بِهِ كَانَ وَعْدُهُ مَفْعُولا The vacuum ruptures, His promise will be fulfilled.
5492 2748 90 38 1456 19	إِنَّ هَذِهِ تَذْكِرَةٌ فَمَنْ شَاءَ اتَّخَذَ إِلَى رَبِّهِ سَبِيلا Indeed this is a reminder, therefore, let whoever wills take a path to his Lord.
5493 2749 91 39 20	إِنَّ رَبَّكَ يَعْلَمُ أَنَّكَ تَقُومُ أَدْنَى مِنْ ثُلُثَيِ اللَّيْلِ وَنِصْفَهُ وَثُلُثَهُ وَطَائِفَةٌ مِنَ الَّذِينَ مَعَكَ وَاللَّهُ يُقَدِّرُ اللَّيْلَ وَالنَّهَارَ عَلِمَ أَنْ لَنْ تُحْصُوهُ فَتَابَ عَلَيْكُمْ فَاقْرَءُوا مَا تَيَسَّرَ مِنَ الْقُرْآنِ عَلِمَ أَنْ سَيَكُونُ مِنْكُمْ مَرْضَى وَآخَرُونَ يَضْرِبُونَ فِي الأرْضِ يَبْتَغُونَ مِنْ فَضْلِ اللَّهِ وَآخَرُونَ يُقَتِلُونَ فِي سَبِيلِ اللَّهِ فَاقْرَءُوا مَا تَيَسَّرَ مِنْهُ وَأَقِيمُوا الصَّلوةَ وَآتُوا الزَّكَوةَ وَأَقْرِضُوا اللَّهَ قَرْضًا حَسَنًا وَمَا تُقَدِّمُوا لأنْفُسِكُمْ مِنْ خَيْرٍ تَجِدُوهُ عِنْدَ اللَّهِ هُوَ خَيْرًا وَأَعْظَمَ أَجْرًا وَاسْتَغْفِرُوا اللَّهَ إِنَّ اللَّهَ غَفُورٌ رَحِيمٌ Your Lord knows that you indeed stay up nearly two-thirds of a night or half of it, or a third of it, and so do a group of those with you. However, God2663 has designed the night and the day. He knows that you cannot do this all the time, He thus has accepted your repentance, therefore, read from the Quran whatever you can. He knows that some of you are ill, and others are traveling seeking God2664’s bounty and yet others are striving in the cause of God2665, so read therefrom what is possible. And observe the contact prayers and give the cleansing charity and give God2666 a loan of righteousness. And whatever good you send forth on behalf of your souls you will find it as a better reward with God2667. And ask God2668 for forgiveness for indeed God2669 is All Forgiving, All Merciful.
